Ever wondered what life looks like for an omegaverse writer? It’s probably boring af to most people, but I figured I’d lay it out here for those interested.
7 am: Wake up and join my coworking session with fellow authors to write for an hour and a half in three sprints.
8:30 am: Scroll through TikTok for far too long before remembering I need to post something.
8:45 am: Post a TikTok to each of my accounts.
9 am: After a bit more scrolling, finally get up and have a protein shake, feed the cats, and go outside if it’s nice out.
9:15 am: Settle in at my desk to check emails
10 am: Respond to comments on my social media and create a new Kindle screenshot video with AuthorScale.
10:15 am: Post Kindle video on IG, Threads, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook.
10:30 am: Start working on current draft.
12:30 pm: Realize I forgot to eat, throw something together for lunch.
1:00 pm: Check emails again.
1:15 pm: Play Zomboid to focus my brain.
3 pm: Get a snack and some caffeine into my poor neglected body.
3:30 pm: Work on FB and similar posts while falling asleep because I stay up way too late.
4 pm: Doomscroll because I’m too tired to do anything.
6 pm: Dinner while watching a show.
7 pm: Now I’m awake!! Time to buckle down and write!
10 pm: Look up multiple groups on the Hub to figure out what parts go where when you have 1 omega and 5 alphas.
12 pm: Shut it all down and read.
1:30 am: Realize I’m supposed to be awake in the morning and hurry to get to bed.
This is just a snippet of one day. I have specific days of the week when I work on things. For example, on Wednesday, I’ll often go grocery shopping, since there are fewer people that day. On Sundays, I watch a movie while I put together all the social media posts on AuthorScale for the week.
So, what does YOUR day look like?
